Chad Graduated Augusta State University in 2000 with a BS in Biology, Following College, from 2000 to 2010 Chad worked as a Project Manager overseeing large design build/design assist projects in the commercial/industrial market segments.

Chad’s job functions were design & budget reconciliation, change order management, cost accounting and financial reporting, risk & schedule management to name a few. In August 2007 Chad earned an MBA with an emphasis in Technology Management.

In February 2011, Chad was recruited to Faith Technologies a Nationally Recognized Design Assist / Design Build Electrical Contracting Firm as Principal of the Atlanta Branch with full P&L responsibility, the business expanding ultimately operating in 10 States across the southeast while employing hundred’s of field and office personnel. Chad served as a regional executive until May 2018 when he left to focus on other pursuits such as; building Akin Enterprises, which is comprised of Akin Construction Company and Akin Investments.

Chad is 48 years old, married with 5 Children and lives in Reynolds Lake Oconee. Among other ventures, Chad is a Commercial Pilot & Flight Instructor holding the following ratings: CPL ASEL & AMEL CFI, CFII & MEI. Chad’s hobbies when not building or flying are spending time with family, Lake Life, Hunting, & Travel.
